An electrical engineer with almost 15 years’ experience in utility scale renewables and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Andrew has a wealth of technical, commercial, legal, contracting and strategic knowledge. Across leadership roles, Andrew has worked throughout the project lifecycle, including development, grid connections, and the construction/commissioning of wind, solar and BESS for projects up to $1 billion in capital expenditure. He also brings deep insights from years of delivering capability projects in the defence sector.
At Energetics, Andrew assesses the impact of emissions reduction and efficiency projects on net zero and cost reduction targets, determining their commercial and technical viability. He has been appointed to support a major government department to not only develop renewables and BESS projects, but also the department’s electric vehicle program. In this capacity, he will develop tender documentation, evaluate tender responses and review contracts, and support business case development and project implementation.
