Carissa has a background in finance and analytics. She is a Team Leader, managing consultants in Melbourne as well as strategic climate resilience and emissions quantification projects for ASX200 companies. In her role, Carissa specialises both in climate risk assessments supported by qualitative and quantitative scenario analysis and scope 3 inventory development and target setting. In particular, she helps clients develop risk management strategies to guide disclosure aligned with the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) framework and most recently, Australia’s incoming mandatory climate-related reporting regime. A skilled emissions quantification practitioner, she also helps clients meet their reporting requirements, particularly under the Greenhouse Gas Protocol for voluntary scope 3 emissions. Her experience in scope 3 inventory development allows her to support clients through the complexity of understanding their emissions sources and engaging with them to embark on their scope 3 target setting journey, including under the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi).
Carissa has expertise in overseeing complex projects and uses her stakeholder engagement and project management capabilities to produce high-quality deliverables for our clients.
