Trent is a mechanical engineer and experienced sustainability advisor. With nearly 15 years’ experience, he’s assisted industry, the built environment, and government sector to improve energy performance and achieve net zero emissions. He brings expertise in carbon and energy strategy development, energy management systems, energy auditing and opportunities assessments, and project implementation support. Trent has a particular interest in the decarbonisation of thermal energy systems through electrification, heat recovery and waste to energy, and is a recognised leader in the investigation of alternatives to fossil fuel energy systems.
Previously at Northmore Gordon, Trent led the development of energy management systems, net zero roadmaps, and energy and carbon strategies for major Australian businesses particularly in food, fibre, and beverage manufacturing. His work has also included policy development and carbon offset creation.
