Alex is a pragmatic climate change and finance professional, specialising in emissions quantification, climate risk, decarbonisation, and abatement cost modelling. He works with ASX200 companies and government agencies to help solve their business specific climate change challenges and transition to a low carbon economy. Alex has expertise across various frameworks, including the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
With business advisory and financial analyst experience, a Master of Accounting and Finance, and a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation, Alex brings a practical and commercial perspective. Before joining Energetics, Alex was a Senior Consultant at EY in the climate change team and a member of the EY Climate Change and Sustainability Sustainable Finance Leadership group.
