Adeline is an emissions quantification expert with over 10 years of experience across both academia and industry. Adeline has worked extensively with Australia’s largest businesses and government departments to measure, manage and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and pollutants. Foundational to this support is her mastery of the National Pollutant Inventory (NPI), National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme and Safeguard Mechanism legislative frameworks, Greenhouse Gas Protocol scope 3 requirements, lifecycle assessments, and management of climate risk in alignment with the requirements of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). She is an accomplished climate modeller and has managed significant and complex projects such as developing Energetics’ proprietary carbon forecasting tool. She was one of the few industry leaders to receive the Chloe Munro Scholarship for Transformational Leadership.
Prior to joining Energetics, Adeline studied chemical engineering, winning a scholarship to undertake a PhD at the University of Cambridge to study renewable energy. In her work, she investigated how to measure key operational parameters of biofuel reactors and reduce their energy consumption through improved design principles.
